About David

David was raised and educated in Virginia.  His love for photography began as a child and he always seemed to be taking pictures. While on a banking career track he began taking college courses in photography and years later he realized a dream of becoming a portrait artist full time.  David holds a Master’s Degree in Photography from the P.P.A. and also holds Virginia’s highest degree of Fellow of Photography. In 2001 he won the Grand Photographic Award for the State of Virginia. His artwork has won several awards and his work is currently on display at the Professional Photographic Association headquarters in Atlanta.
